My Outdoor Patio Reveal | Summer Patio Decorating Inspiration

I feel like it has been forever since I have been able to enjoy my outdoor space since I started my backyard renovations. This patio addition to my pool area has been such a wonderful space to enjoy and I’m so happy with how it’s turning out. Styling this outdoor area has been so much fun for me but I haven’t completely finished decorating because I am very particular about everything that I bring into my home so it has been a slow, but rewarding project because I truly love all the pieces I’ve picked out so far. I will be sharing more updates soon but for now lets check out the mood board and space details.

I didn’t end up using all of the furniture pieces I had planned for the space but I definitely think I achieved getting the overall feel of the mood board perfectly! A lot of my inspiration for my outdoor patio came from older European style homes and gardens as well as some modern southern California backyards. I really think the two blend so nicely together.

I planted these geraniums for a beautiful pop of color on my patio. These gorgeous urn planters from Lowe’s stood empty for so long and the space was feeling dull without very much plants so I finally got around to planting them up and I absolutely love how they turned out [even though I never liked geraniums but they have really grown on me over the years]. I’m planning to create two small groupings of potted plants somewhere in this area. I’m thinking some dwarf citrus trees and a mix of herbs and annual flowers…

I’ve been spending so much time outside and enjoying the beautiful summer weather on my cozy outdoor furniture. The outdoor loveseat sofa and matching patio chairs are from Wayfair & I absolutely obsessed with them! The frame work is sturdy and the cushions are very comfortable and made with sturdy Sunbrella fabric which I love. The set of bistro chairs are also from Wayfair and the marble bistro table (which is great quality for the price) is from World Market. Lastly, the cream white umbrellas and sage green umbrella bases are from Amazon.
